If you have one clearly-defined problem — mud tubes on one plinth wall, roaches in one kitchen, mosquitoes on the lawn — the single service is usually the right call and the cheaper one, and each has its own depth page: termite control, cockroach control, mosquito control, rodent control, and bed bug treatment. A whole-house fumigation earns its cost in the situations where you want the entire property reset at once and documented. What a DHA Whole-House Fumigation Visit Actually Involves
The value of a whole-house booking is that five separate problems get solved in one mobilisation instead of five appointments. The visit runs in five stages.
Stage one — full-property inspection and plan. Before any chemistry comes off the truck, our crew lead walks the whole house: every floor, the basement if there is one, the servant and staff quarters, the kitchen and all wet areas, the roof tank, and the garden perimeter. The point is to find everything that is active in one pass — plinth walls for termite, floor drains and cabinet lines for cockroach, tanks and drip trays for mosquito, boundary and waste zones for rodent — and build a single plan that covers all of it. A whole-house job is scoped once, not pest by pest.
Stage two — prep and seal. This is the part that makes a bungalow fumigation a premium job rather than a spray-and-go. We give the household a prep list, then our crew covers or clears food, covers aquariums and fish ponds, protects art and antique surfaces, and seals the zones being treated so the chemistry stays where it belongs. Stage three — multi-pest treatment in one pass. Stage four — ventilation and re-entry. We sequence rooms so the re-entry windows stack sensibly and, where the family is staying in the house, we treat and clear in an order that lets them keep using part of the home while another wing airs out. Soil-injected termite chemistry is inert underfoot almost immediately; the fogged and sprayed zones carry a short ventilation window we hand you in writing.
Stage five — documentation and warranty. At completion you get a written record naming the chemistry used, dilution, batch number, treated zones, and re-entry interval — the document that matters for a resale, a tenant handover, or a corporate-lease file. Termite soil-barrier work carries a one-year warranty extendable to a five-year AMC; the other services carry a callback re-treatment inside their warranty window.

Most DHA whole-house jobs are done while the family is still in residence, and that is the real skill in a big-bungalow fumigation. We sequence the work room-by-room and wing-by-wing so nobody has to vacate the whole property for a day — the crew closes and treats one zone, moves on, and hands it back once it has aired. Valuables, artwork, and antique wooden furniture get covered before anything is applied near them.
