If a snake is inside your home, office or site right now, keep everyone and every pet away from it, keep it in sight from a safe distance if you can, and call us on +92-311-1101810. Our trained handlers capture snakes with tongs and hooks, remove them from the premises, and then treat the property so snakes are less likely to return: repellent along boundary walls and open ground, sealing of entry points, and control of the rats that draw snakes in.

We handle single snake call-outs for homes and scheduled snake control for large sites such as factories, warehouses, terminals and housing schemes on the city's edges. This page explains what to do while you wait, how a capture works, why snakes come onto a property in the first place, and how we keep them out.

What to do while you wait

  • Keep your distance. Stay at least a few metres away and keep children and pets in another room or outside the area.
  • Do not try to catch or kill it. Most bites happen when people try to handle, corner or kill a snake. A snake left alone will usually stay still or try to leave.
  • Watch where it goes, from a distance. If it moves, note where: under a cupboard, into a drain, behind stored items. It saves time when we arrive.
  • Close internal doors if it is in one room, and put a rolled towel along the gap under the door if you can do so safely.
  • If someone is bitten, keep them calm and still, and go to the nearest hospital emergency department immediately. Do not cut the wound, suck it or apply a tight tourniquet.

How a snake capture works

  1. Locate. Our handler confirms where the snake is, checking likely hiding places such as stored goods, furniture, drains, plant pots and gaps behind appliances.
  2. Capture. The snake is secured with a snake hook and tongs and placed in a closed container. Our handlers do not handle snakes by hand.
  3. Removal. The snake is taken off the premises and released well away from homes, or handed over where that is the safer option.
  4. Search for more. We check the area for other snakes, shed skins and the entry route the snake used.
  5. Advice on the spot. We show you how it got in and what to change, before any follow-up treatment.

Why snakes come onto a property

Snakes go where food and shelter are. In Karachi that usually means three things:

  • Rats and mice. Rodents are the main food that brings snakes into homes, godowns and factories. A site with a rat problem will keep attracting snakes, however many are removed. Controlling rodents is the most effective long-term snake control there is. See our rodent control and factory rodent control programmes.
  • Cover. Overgrown plots, stacked bricks and construction material, scrap, pallets and dense garden beds give snakes shelter close to buildings.
  • Water and cool spaces. In the hot months, snakes look for shade and moisture: drains, water tanks, AC units, basements and damp stores.

New housing at the city's edges, factories bordering open land, and terminals and warehouses with large yards see snakes most often, especially during and after the monsoon, when rain pushes them out of flooded burrows.

How we keep snakes out

Measure What it involves
Repellent treatment Snake repellent applied along boundary walls, fence lines and open ground around buildings
Entry-point sealing Gaps under gates and doors, broken wall sections, drain openings and holes around pipes sealed or meshed
Rodent control Bait stations and trapping to remove the rats and mice that attract snakes
Habitat clearing advice What to clear, stack differently or move away from walls: rubble, scrap, dense growth
Scheduled visits For large sites, regular inspection and repellent renewal, with capture on call between visits

Repellent on its own does not make a property snake-proof. It works alongside sealing and rodent control, which together remove the reasons a snake would come in.

Snake control for factories, terminals and large sites

Industrial sites, oil and cargo terminals, warehouses and large housing schemes need snake control as a programme rather than a call-out. We set up a schedule of inspection, repellent treatment along perimeters and drains, entry-point sealing around control rooms and offices, and rodent control, with emergency capture between visits. Each visit is recorded, which matters on sites where safety is audited. These programmes are usually part of a wider commercial pest control contract.

Price

Snake rescue and snake control are quoted after we know the site: for a call-out, the location and urgency; for a programme, the area, perimeter length and number of buildings. Call us and we will give you the price before we come.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if I see a snake in my house?+

Keep everyone and every pet away from it, do not try to catch or kill it, and watch where it goes from a safe distance. Close internal doors if it is in one room. Then call a trained snake catcher. Most bites happen when people try to handle or corner a snake.

Do you remove snakes from homes in Karachi?+

Yes. Our trained handlers capture snakes with hooks and tongs, take them off the premises, check for other snakes and the entry route, and advise what to change. We also treat the property afterwards with repellent and entry-point sealing to make a return less likely.

Why do snakes come into houses?+

Snakes come for food and shelter. Rats and mice are the main attraction, along with cover such as rubble, scrap and dense plants near walls, and cool, damp places like drains and stores in hot weather. Removing rodents is the most effective long-term way to keep snakes away.

Does snake repellent work?+

Repellent along boundary walls and open ground helps, but it does not make a property snake-proof on its own. It works best combined with sealing the gaps snakes use to get in and controlling the rodents that attract them.

Do you provide snake control for factories and terminals?+

Yes. For large sites we run scheduled programmes: perimeter and drain repellent, entry-point sealing around control rooms and offices, rodent control, and emergency capture between visits. Each visit is recorded for sites where safety is audited.

How much does snake removal cost?+

Snake rescue and snake control are quoted after we know the site. For a call-out, the price depends on location and urgency; for a programme, on the area, perimeter and number of buildings. We give you the price before we come.
