Termite work in Karachi is mostly post-construction soil treatment for confirmed Heterotermes indicola or Coptotermes heimi infestations in occupied homes — older DHA Phase 1–5 villas and homes with mature mango or neem trees in the garden are our most common substrate. We follow the IS 6313 (Part 3): 2001 South Asian post-construction protocol, drilling along the inside foundation and applying imidacloprid 17.8% SC at the recommended 0.075% active-ingredient dilution at 5 litres per square metre inside and 7.5 litres per square metre along the outside drip line. Residents can re-enter once treated soil is dry — typically 2–4 hours in Karachi summer. Warranty: 1 year on post-construction work, extendable to 5 years on an AMC. Pre-construction soil treatment, applied during the plinth-and-foundation stage before flooring is laid, per IS 6313 (Part 2): 2001. We work directly with builders and self-build owners in DHA, Bahria, and Gulshan plots, treating the plot footprint with chlorpyrifos or imidacloprid emulsion at calibrated dilution, plus drip-line treatment along the external perimeter. This is the cheapest termite money you will ever spend; the same protection done post-construction costs 4–6× more. Priced per square foot of plinth area: PKR 18–35 per sq ft depending on chemistry choice. Warranty: 10 years (industry standard).

For homes that are already termite-treated and want to stay protected: an annual or bi-annual inspection and refresh on the original treatment, including spot drill-and-inject on any new entry points discovered during inspection. This is what we recommend for villas with previous termite history and homes with extensive woodwork (doors, frames, parquet). Roughly 35–50% of the cost of a fresh post-construction treatment, scheduled inside our route days for DHA, Clifton, and Bahria Town.

Cockroach control in Karachi is almost always a Blattella germanica (German cockroach) kitchen problem, occasionally Periplaneta americana (American cockroach) in basements and drain runs. We lead with a fipronil gel-bait protocol (EPA Reg. 88613-1 chemistry) — 0.5 g spot placements inside cabinetry, behind appliances, and along plumbing entries — followed by an IGR (insect growth regulator) overlay for population suppression. We use bait, not blanket spray, in occupied homes; spray is reserved for void areas (false ceilings, drain stacks) where bait is impractical. From PKR 3,000 for a 1-bed apartment, PKR 4,500–9,000 for a 2–3 bed home. Restaurants and food-service kitchens quoted separately due to HACCP documentation requirements.

A focused cockroach-only gel-bait visit for homes with a confirmed German cockroach problem in the kitchen but no other pest activity. Cheaper than a full general fumigation because the technician is on site for 45–60 minutes with a single chemistry. Best for early-stage infestations and post-Eid kitchens. From PKR 2,500 per visit.

Bed bug work in Karachi is most often Cimex hemipterus — the tropical bed bug — not the C. lectularius common in cooler climates. We treat per room with a combined chemical + heat protocol: residual deltamethrin or bifenthrin SC on mattress seams, bed frame joints, skirting, and electrical outlets, plus targeted hot-air on cracks where eggs hide (eggs survive most sprays). Two visits, 14 days apart, to cover the egg-hatch cycle. Mattress disposal is rarely necessary — the chemistry kills through fabric. From PKR 4,500 per room; hotels and guest houses contracted separately.

Ant work in Karachi divides into sugar ants (kitchen counter trails), pharaoh ants (a real concern in hospitals and clinics due to sterility risk), and fire ants (outdoor, occasionally invading ground-floor bathrooms). We bait sugar ants with sucrose-based borate gel and never spray over the trail — spraying breaks the trail, scatters the colony, and creates four new colonies a week later. Pharaoh ant work is a 4-week protein-bait protocol; do not let any technician spray pharaoh ants. From PKR 2,500 per visit.

Mosquito work in Karachi peaks 4–6 weeks after the first monsoon rains — typically late July through September, matching the Aedes aegypti dengue curve tracked by the Sindh Health Department. We run ULV (ultra-low-volume) fogging of outdoor garden and perimeter areas plus larviciding of standing water (water tank overflow, AC condensate trays, plant saucers, blocked roof drains). For dengue-prone areas we add indoor residual spraying on resting surfaces. Single-visit fogging PKR 3,500–10,000 by property size; seasonal contracts (monthly through monsoon) discounted 30%.

Fly work covers houseflies in restaurant kitchens and dustbin areas, drain flies in floor drains, and the occasional phorid fly in mortuary, pharma, or older drainage systems. Restaurants get an integrated programme: UV-light traps (sticky board, not electrocuting — required by Sindh Food Authority), residual treatment on dumpster zones and grease traps, and weekly drain-line treatment with bacterial enzyme cleaner. Residential drain fly treatment is single-visit. From PKR 3,000 residential; restaurant contracts from PKR 9,000/month.

Karachi rodent work is dominated by Rattus rattus (roof rat) in residential buildings and Rattus norvegicus (Norway rat) in sewer-adjacent commercial sites; Bandicota bengalensis (bandicoot rat) shows up in older godowns and food storage. We deploy tamper-resistant bait stations with second-generation anticoagulant baits (bromadiolone or brodifacoum, restricted-use chemistry — handled by certified technicians only), seal entry points with steel wool and cement, and place snap traps in indoor void areas. Follow-up at 7 and 14 days. From PKR 4,000 for an apartment; villa-scale PKR 11,000–22,000. Restaurants and warehouses contracted with monthly station servicing.

House gecko (Hemidactylus flaviviridis) is universal in Karachi homes — they reach an indoor pest level when their numbers exceed comfort. Our protocol is humane: residual perimeter spray on outdoor walls (where they feed on moths and mosquitos drawn to lights), entry-point sealing around AC drains and window frames, and indoor crack-and-crevice treatment in problem rooms. We do not use glue traps in occupied homes — they are inhumane and culturally objectionable to most Karachi households. From PKR 3,500 per visit.

Snake removal is an emergency-response service across DHA Phase 8, Bahria Town, and Gadap-adjacent properties — most calls are Naja naja (Indian cobra) sightings in garden or boundary-wall areas during monsoon. Our protocol: technician on site within 90 minutes during business hours, safe live capture using snake tongs and a holding bag, release at a Sindh Wildlife Department coordinated relocation site. We do not kill snakes — most Karachi snake species are protected, and killing them is a Sindh Wildlife Protection Ordinance offence. Per-call PKR 4,000–8,000. Annual perimeter preventive contracts available for Bahria Town and Gadap residents.

A whole-home single-visit treatment that covers the common Karachi pest spectrum in one go: cockroaches, ants, mosquitos, flies, spiders, silverfish, and incidental beetles. We pre-mix solution on-site in calibrated 20-litre canisters (the dilution chart is taped to the lid; ask the technician to show you), apply residual chemistry along skirting, behind appliances, and inside cabinets, and fog enclosed areas where residents have left for the duration. Residents re-enter 90–120 minutes after treatment with windows opened for ventilation. From PKR 3,500 for a 1-bed apartment; villa-scale PKR 9,000–18,000. Hospital-grade disinfectant fogging for offices, clinics, schools, and homes after illness — quaternary ammonium compound (QAC) chemistry, food-contact-surface safe, dries inert within 30 minutes. Originally added to our service line during the 2020–2022 sanitation push; demand has stabilised post-pandemic for clinics, dental offices, and back-to-school sanitisation.
